Michael Lee-Chin has been the Lead Portfolio Manager of the AIC Advantage Fund since its inception in 1987. The Fund has the distinction of being one of the best known Canadian equity funds over the last 20 years.
Michael acquired AIC Limited in 1987. Over the years, Michael took AIC from less than $1 million to at one point over $15 billion in assets under management at the company’s highest historical peak. Michael and his team continue to manage the Advantage series of funds through Portland Investment Counsel. Michael is currently Executive Chairman and CEO of Portland Investment Counsel.
