Third Avenue Management
Ian Lapey is a senior member of Third Avenue’s investment team and is a portfolio manager for the firm’s sub-advised portfolios, including Manulife Global Focused Fund. Additionally, Ian co-manages Third Avenue’s flagship fund, Third Avenue Value Fund, along with the founder of the firm, Marty Whitman.
Ian received a BA in Economics from Williams College, an MS in Accounting from Northeastern University Graduate School of Professional Accounting and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. He’s also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
